South point casino wifi in rooms

We stayed at the South Point Casino & Hotel for six nights in mid-January 2017. We were there for almost a week with no car so it got to. In my opinion it seemed to be in need of renovating, but it could just because red and gold are my least favorite colors! The rooms do not have microwaves or refrigerators, it would have been nice to have them in the room. There is a lot of 'dead' space between the bed and window, enough to put another whole bed if you had to! Which was great for us since we did not feel 'squished' in a small space for so long. It was a basic room with two queen beds and bath. Our hotel room was very large square-foot size. Quite a bit of walking to get around this complex. Slightly confusing to realize that you literally walk through the Casino to the other side of the massive building to get to the hotel rooms. No problem checking in, polite and professional staff. When the shuttle dropped us off at the 'front' door, the lobby was to our right. We used Uber to get around town and did not rent a car. We flew into Las Vegas and took the South Point shuttle from the airport to the hotel.

My daughter and her teammates were competing at the Lady Luck Gymnastics Invitational and we made a vacation of it.
